Making my way downtown, walking fast, faces past and I’m Primark bound…
I had ended up in Bath Primark one windy afternoon with some time to kill. If you’ve ever been to Bath Primark, you’ll know that it is teeny tiny. It’s my least favourite Primark I’ve been to. They don’t have that good of a range in stock and it feels quite enclosed due to its size. This day was particularly busy for some reason. It seemed to be jam-packed of French pre-teenage girls. If you didn’t know, Bath if a tourist city and full of history. I didn’t have anything against Primark being full of French pre-teen girls, it was just annoying when they wouldn’t let me get through to look at something, no matter how many times I said: “excuse me”.
Tucked away, behind a hoard of gaggling young girls opening and swatching everything in sight, I noticed the new range of “chocolate” inspired makeup. When I say “chocolate” inspired, what I actually mean is Two Faced inspired. They are the budget-friendly dupe version of the Two Faced Chocolate Makeup collection.
The visual look of it is gorgeous and very aesthetically pleasing. For £2.50 I am very impressed with the quality. The cardboard packaging is tough and the pan seems quite deep with product.
The smell is somewhat like chocolate. However too much can be sickly sweet. The smell doesn’t transfer to your face. There is another, darker bronzer shade, although I don’t think it would suit my skin tone.
This swatch was made with a finger and is quite bright and shimmery as you would expect. There isn’t that much colour transfer with a brush onto the face, but it does give you a nice glow. All in all, I would highly recommend this highlighter for someone who is just getting into highlighting and can be intimidated by all the fabulous stunningly shining products out there.
What do you think? Have you tried anything from this range? Let me know in the comments.
