“Something they’ll want,
something they’ll need,
something they’ll wear,
and something they’ll read”
If you thought to buy for women was tough, buying for men can be just as difficult. It may even be worse. If you’re lucky, they will come straight out with it and say “I’d like such and such for Christmas.” However, most likely you’ll hear, “I don’t know” or “nothing”. You’re half tempted to take them up on their suggestion and actually get them nothing, then watch their reaction on the big day. You tell yourself you can’t be that mean, this year. So, what do you get the person who wants nothing? Below I have a few practical suggestions for the dearest men in your life.
Something they want
Music is one of the best gifts you can give anyone. Why not get that special guy in your life a cool portable record player. This sleek turntable is all hidden in a retro suitcase casing. Make it extra special by pairing it with a couple of their favourite albums on vinyl. My favourite would be Michael Jackson, Thriller and David Bowie, Legacy. Classics.
Something they need
Everyone needs socks. They’re a necessity in everyday life. However, in my experience, it seems that socks don’t want to be kept. They either tear holes, shrink, or get lost. What am I saying? They always get lost. Gift a regular supply of funky, fresh socks every month. There are different length subscriptions to suit every budget.
Something they’ll wear
The watch game has been stepped up. This beautiful timepiece is a wonderful gift for that certain guy who is always late. There are so many unique qualities of the Huawei W1 it seems almost underwhelming to call it simply a watch. There are many videos out there that go fully into all the nifty tricks, I’m sure you’ll be as impressed as I am.
Something they’ll read
This one is maybe for the older gentleman in your life. David Jason is a comedy and acting legend. His down to earth nature and lovable characters have made him a firm household name everywhere. Give the gift of laughter this Christmas.
This guide was definitely harder than the previous ones and I did have to do a lot of research. Mainly I just asked every guy I knew what would they want for Christmas? I hope this guide helps you or at least gives you some better ideas. Make sure you check back tomorrow for another instalment in Blogmas!
